SPEcial permits
City of Cambridge Special Permits Being Sought
The 50 Bishop Allen Drive development will include demolition of the existing building and construction of a new Seven (7) story Twenty two (22) unit residential building with bicycle parking and no vehicle parking. The project is in the Central Square Overlay district and will be seeking the following special permits which are subject to change as the project progresses.
Special Permits as follows:
- Special Permit to waive front and side yard setbacks pursuant to section 20.304.4
- Special Permit to reduce the open space requirement pursuant to section 20.304.4 (2)
- Special Permit to build increase height over 55 pursuant to 20.304.3
- Special Permit to waive/reduce required parking from 17 spaces (.75) to no parking. pursuant to article 6.36 Table of Parking Regulations
